“Tong Jing” Painful Period – Blood Stagnation

Its ingredients are Chao Xiao Hui Xiang, Chao Gan Jiang, Yan Hu Suo, Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong, Mo Yao, Guan Gui, Chi Shao, Pu Huang and Chao Wu Ling Zhi.   • If palpable or visible abdominal masses use the formula Ge Xia Zhu Yu Tang “Drive Out Blood Stasis Below the Diaphragm Decoction”. This formula invigorates blood, dispels blood stasis, promotes the movement of qi, and alleviates pain. Instead of Sheng Di Huang it has Mu Dan Pi. Its ingredients are Chao Wu Ling Zhi, Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong, Tao Ren, Mu Dan Pi, Chi Shao, Wu Yao, Yan Hu Suo, Gan Cao, Xiang Fu, Hong Hua, Zhi Ke.It is an associated formula of Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang “Drive Out Stasis in the Mansion of Blood Decoction”.   • If heat signs add slightly cold herbs such as Yi Mu Cao (known as “tonify mother grass”, invigorates blood and regulates menses), Dan Shen (equals Si Wu Tang‘s function), Chi Shao (invigorates blood, cools blood and clears heat).

    Porque en la primera foto relacionada con la formula “Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang” está includida la hierba “Bai Shao”?

      Hola Roberto,
      Si, es una variacion. Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang lleva originalmente “Chi Shao”, que es mas adecuado para la estancacion de sangre que “Bai Shao”.
      En la escuela nos han enseñado que al ser una variacion de la combinacion de “Tao Hong Si Wu Tang” con “Si Ni San” (las dos llevan “Bai Shao”), se puede usar “Chi Shao” junto con “Bai Shao”. Algo similar pasaria con “Sheng Di Huang” y “Shu Di Huang”. En “Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang” se usa “Sheng Di Huang” mientras que en “Tao Hong Si Wu Tang” se usa “Shu Di Huang”.
